If you order online for in-store collection, it will be available within 1-2 working days.
All items in stock, not in store, can be ordered online for pickup within 5-7 business days. I called it the F-350 pistol. It's a ridiculous pistol for most everyday users, and generally shouldn't be carried around town. It's just a blur. But there's a reason the F350 was made, because there are users who know what it takes to get a great job done. It can be heavy goods, long distance transport or just *ss transport.

The new Glock pistol case is a big step forward, but I believe the G40 is more than that. When he opened it, the case almost fell out because of its contents. Everything works again, just add your Tetris skills.
Glock 10mm Pistols
I expected the Glock to be heavy given its size, but it's a gentle giant at just over 28 ounces. Now I wouldn't call her beautiful even for her size. When the gun is unloaded, the pistol is front-heavy from the long stroke, but it starts to balance out when carrying the magazine (about 40 ounces). As long as the red dot is on top, I find it neutral for long shooting sessions.
The chest is big. People with small hands do not need to apply, even without a belt. My wife, who can handle a medium backstrap G17 9mm, found it difficult to hold tight and reach for the trigger at the same time. My average hand finds the smallest position to be the most comfortable, but the medium backstrap is reliable because I can hold the gun and it flows. Unlike Glock's other competition-oriented pistols, the G40 does not have a long slide stop.
I'm sure this will be discussed many times, but if you want to check it out, it's a Glock Gen 4. The grip has a finger (which works for me), square pattern (which I like), larger. and more reversible. too small cut in trigger guard for magazine release and middle finger. It comes with standard Glock adjustable sights (they work but are awful) and surprisingly the rear sight extends a bit beyond the back of the slide. I don't know if this is technically an oversight, but "perfect" is annoying.
The MOS or "Modular Optical System" system is the latest and I have found an amazing addition to the Glock family. The G40 and 9mm/.40 are offered with the younger ones, along with their factory optic mounts. It's not fundamentally productive, because the aftermarket has been doing it for years, but it's useful and really helps the "perfect" approach to perfection.
Here's Why The Glock 34 Generation 5 Is The Company's Superior Pistol
Author's Note - Pride Fowler's separately shipped PFI optics are compatible with MOS systems. When mounted on one of the models, the optic sits too far back to fit inside the pistol. I took a small Trijicon dot (not pictured) to test the MOS system.
In general, those who want functionality must buy an aftermarket slide, rotate it, or use an adapter plate that mounts the optics higher. There are at least a few advantages to doing this with business loans. Once machined, inserts are easy and inexpensive, can cover the cut area rather than leaving it bare, and provide tighter tolerances than split-plane loads.
The MOS mounting area is in front of the adjustable rear sight. When delivered, it comes with a soft and profiled plate to fit the slide. The combination is very good and only those with sharp eyes or a close gun will notice that it can accept optics. The plate is secured with two set screws and is easy to remove to install the optics. Slide the adapter plate and attach the selected optic to the adapter plate. Voila.
After installation, there is another scratch. The visibility of the plants is too low to bear witness. This is another oversight from Glock regarding the cost of injection molding. I know there are a lot of aftermarket systems out there, but at least Glock could make an effort.
Range Report: Glock 35
If anyone has shot a 10mm before, there is nothing particularly remarkable about the Glock's performance. To me the cartridge is like a daughter to the .40 S&W. It doubles up and has a bounce to help soften the heavy slide, but I can't get another line going.
Accuracy remains average in my experience with the Glock, but the long sight range helped me to get it to 1.5″ at 15 yards (Freedom Munitions 180 grain RNFP) (I usually shoot 2″ with in G19). Adding the optic (provided by PFI - detailed review to come later), I narrowed it down a bit, shooting 2.0 inches at 25 yards.
Like almost every review written on a Glock, the Glock is long, smooth, and the trigger is solid. However, I'm not a fan of this because Glock chose to do away with the serrations found on most other pistols. It really strengthens the safety grip, which after about three magazines started to feel uncomfortable on my fingers. After 100 rounds I absolutely hated it. Of course, personal preference rules the day, but this is one Glock that needs an aftermarket booger window in my opinion.
In contrast, the MOS system really shines in the pistol. Because Glocks are designed for, with optics, this makes them a "long" gun with real hunting potential. The rifle's red dot illuminates for faster aiming on aging sights or moving targets. With a better trigger control or a better trigger switch, the G40 could live up to Glock's claim of the perfect hunting pistol.
Vickers Tactical Gen3 9mm/.40 Extended Mag Release
However, I would caution that you need to load to take advantage of the longer barrel. 10mm items in the factory are usually "castrated"
Author's Note: Although Glock specifically disapproved of this practice, it was possible to fire the .40 S&W in 10mm.
